All of their Hemp and Cannabis is grown ethically, without the use of artificial fertilisers or pesticides. Their original Indica cultivars (Red, White, and Black Editions) are all cultivated indoors, with the use of grow lights in a controlled environment. The remaining three cultivars used to produce the Blue, Green, and Purple Editions are all cultivated outdoors under the sun. The Blue and Green Editions are created using Cannabis Sativa, and the Purple Editions are from a Hybrid. The herbs are handpicked at their optimal growth time and individually hung at atmospheric temperatures until they are ready for the extraction process.

Their oils are extracted using CO2, under low pressure and low heat conditions. The CBD products have a rich profile of full-spectrum Cannabinoids, Flavonoids, Terpenes, as well as Fatty acids in the form of omega 3 and omega 6. What is the difference between the batches?

What is the difference between Indica and Sativa?

Indica and Sativa are the two main categories of cannabis plants. They can be cross-bred to create hybrids. What’s the difference between the editions?

CBD Brothers use four different extracts cultivated by licensed growers, under different conditions to make their products.

Cultivated outside under the sun they have two Sativa extracts, the Aqua Plus and Blue Editions which are from Hemp Sativa and the Green Edition which is from Cannabis Sativa. They also have the Purple Edition, which is created from Cannabis Indica dominant hybrid. This hybrid is grown on farms in Holland and contains 30% Sativa and 70% Indica.

Their original White, Silver, Red and Black editions all use the same Cannabis Indica extract, and customers can get these editions in four different concentrations. This strain is cultivated in a controlled environment under light for maximum cannabinoid yield and content.

Their Gold Edition oil is created from a Cannabis Sativa dominant hybrid containing Sativa and hand-pressed Cannabis Indica rosin, grown in their 2-acre greenhouse in Guernsey. The environment in the greenhouse is controlled to maximise cannabinoid content and to ensure our extracts are of the highest quality.

Do their products contain THC?

CBD Brothers use whole-plant extract or full-spectrum CBD to create most of their products. This means that the extract contains all the compounds naturally present in the hemp plant, including THC. However, the amount of THC in the products will not cause any intoxication. They get their CBD from industrial hemp plants that contain no more than 0.2% of THC. They do, however, supply a variety of THC-free products also, including oils and capsules.

Are their products legal?

Yes, all of the CBD products manufactured by CBD Brothers are legal. They ensure that all their products contain the legal concentration of THC, which is the compound that causes intoxication. The products undergo rigorous tests by two third-party labs to ensure that the level of THC is kept under the legal limit.

Customers should be aware since these products contain trace levels of THC and could show as positive on an employer or roadside drug test.
